THE BILL IN REALITY = 96 X 60
                                 = Rs. 576
BILL AFTER THE ACCOUNTANT'S MISTRAKE = 60 X(96-5)
                                                                     = 60 X 91
                                                                      = Rs. 546
  DIFFERENCE = 576 - 546
                        = Rs. 30

The original price of the book = Rs.96
Number of books bought = 60
Therefore, total bill = 96 x 60 = Rs. 5760

The mistaken price of each book = 96 - 5 = 91
Number of books bought = 60
Therefore total bill = 91 x 60 = Rs.5460

Thus the difference between both the bills = 5760 - 5460 = Rs. 300
Hope it helps !!
