Pls clarify as soon as possible.

when a right triangle abc with 2 sides equal to 1 cm by Pythagoras theorem we get the length of hypotenuse as √2. the length of the hypotenuse is finite. but the value of √ 2 is a never ending value why is it so?

Root of 2 is 1.414321.........
but after 4 the numbers are 321....which r lessthan5 and r not significant.
so th value is1.414 only.
in our method of finding root this case is specified.
