Athletes gets cramp in their body spl. when they complete a long distance race spl. in legs bcoz when they run they get small amount of oxygen as they run very fast so they dont get sufficient amount of oxygen, due to lack of oxygen it fails to diffuse in whole body,so body respire anaerobically which in turn accumulates lactic acid in the muscles of the body this lactic acid causes pain or cramps,usually recognised after running.It is called muscle fatigue.It can be cured by normal exercise, this lactic acid gets oxidised.Normal massage can also do.
