Hydrogen gas :    V1 = 600 cc      P1 = 3014 cm hg
When the vessel is connected to another vessel which is empty, the gas occupies the entire volume.  Then pressure reduces.  If the gas expands slowly without change in temperature, then,  Boyle's law applies:

     V2 = 600+ 300 = 900 cc
      P1 * V1 = P2 * V2
       P2 = P1 V1/ V2 = 600 * 3014 / 900 = 2009.34 cm Hg
