A)  we want a real image.  so we use a concave mirror.
b)  v = - 48 cm        u = -12 cm
magnification =  -v/u = -4        image is inverted.

c)  distance between object and image = 48- 12 = 36 cm

d)      1/f = 1/u + 1/v
= 1/-12 + 1/-48  = - 5 / 48
