Yes, transfer of energy takes place when you push a huge rock. If we see the law of conservation of momentum, we can calculate the distance by which the rock moves. However, the distance is so small that one might not even notice it may be in nanometers or even smaller. So, the transfer of energy occurs from our body to the rock and energy goes into the movement of rock which is invisible.
