Solution :
See in the above circuit ,
4ohm and 6ohm resistances are in series ,
therefore their equivalent resistance = 10 ohm
Similarly ,
8 ohm and 12 ohm resistances are in series,
therefore there equivalent resistance = 20ohm
hence our Circuit modifies as follows
10 ohm

We know that ,
V=IR

or I = V/R
= 12 / 20 /3
= 12*3/20
= 36/20
= 18/10
= 1.8 Ampere
Hence Current = 1.8 Ampere.

In loop ABCD,
A to B is in series and D to C is also in series, but AB and CD is in parallel arrangement.

Therefore, Resultant resistance in branch AB = 4 ohms + 6 ohms = 10 Ohms
Resultant resistance in branch CD = 12 ohms + 8 ohms = 20 Ohms

So the resultant resistance of the circuit = 1/10 + 1/20 = 3/20 = 0.3 Ohm

According to Ohm's Law:-
V = I * R
6V = I * 0.3
I = 20 Amperes
