The potential difference V across the ends of a given metallic wire in an electric circuit is directly proportional to the current flowing through it provided it's temperature remains the same. This is called ohms law. V is directly proportional to I V/I=Constant =R V = IR there are no effects of ohms law as it is a law of physics and electricity so it has no effects
