From  (i) and (ii),
A reaches (25 + 30) sec before C. = 55 sec  (TIME)
A was 275 m forward then C.  (DISTANCE)                             [FROM EQUATION (ii)]
Therefore, speed of A = (275/55) m/s = 5 m/s.........(iv)            [SPEED = DISTANCE/TIME]
NOW,
speed of A = 5 m/s
and  distance = 1 km = 1000 m
Therefore, time taken by A to run 1 kilometer = (1000/5) sec    [TIME = DISTANCE/SPEED]
                                                                  = 200 sec
