bacterial disease -- cholera
cholera is caused by the bacterium called Vibrio cholerae. It was the cause of untold sufferings and death in many parts of the world before. It is a disease of antiquity and it is spread by the use of water and food contaminated with the bacteria. It causes fever and rice water stool which is nothing but watery diarrhea. It results in severe dehydration, increased acidity in the body, loss of minerals and ultimately increases the haem concentration of blood. If not treated properly it results in death.
