1)Calculate the mass percent of each element in ethanol.
2)Identify the limiting reagent and calculate the mass of NH3 produced when 2.00*10^3g of nitrogen reacts with 1.00*10^3 of hydrogen.Also calculate the amount of the reactant remaining unreacted.

Please reply fast friends,it's very urgent!!!!!!!!!

N2 + 3 H2 ==> 2 NH3 ;; 1 mole: 28 gram of nitrogen reacts with 3 moles 6 grams of hydrogen..
2000 grams of Nitrogen reacts with 2000*6/28 = 3000/7 grams of H2...
so 1000 - 3000/7 grams of hydrogen remains
Thanks

1. mass % =
(mass of the element/ mass of compound) × 100%
the formula of ethanol is C2H5OH
The total mass of compound is 46 g.
mass % C = (2×12)/46 ×100 =52.17%
mass % H = (6×1)/46 ×100
=13.04
mass % O = (1×16)/46×100
= 34.78
1 5 1
