Initially the population of the city is 125000
In 1st year
The no.of births = 8.5*125000/100 = 10625
The no.of deaths = 3.5*125000/100 = 4375
Therefore the total population after 1 year = 125000+10625-4375 = 131250
In 2nd year
The no.of births = 8.5*125000/100 = 10625
The no.of deaths = 3.5*125000/100 = 4375
Therefore the total population after 2 years = 131250+10625-4375  = 137500
In 3rd year
The no.of births = 8.5*125000/100 = 10625
The no.of deaths = 3.5*125000/100 = 4375
Therefore the total population after 3 years = 137500+10625-4375 = 143750.
The population of city after 3 years = 143750
