 Composite numbers are ones that have factors other than 1 and themselves.
Examples:
4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, etc.

Consecutive just means they come one after the other (they only differ by 1).
Examples:
9, 10 or 14, 15, 16

They each have factors other than 1 and themselves (so aren't prime). They are composite.
9 = 3 x 3
10 = 2 x 5

14 = 2 x 7
15 = 3 x 5
16 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2
