With NASA 's advancing technologies , many new earth like planets are being discovered. Here are a few of the extra terrestrial worlds -

1. Kepler- 452b .

Its a  small planet orbiting in the habitable zone of a distant star.
Every 385 days, the planet circles a star slightly brighter than the sun, located about 1400 light years away in the Constellation Cygnus. BAsed on available data, researchers have concluded that it's a rocky planet. Although it hasn't yet found out if the planet has a atmosphere or not. The gravity of this planet is around twice as that of our earth, although this too need further research.

2. Kepler 62e and Kepler 62f

These are two planets found orbiting the habitalbe zone of a roughly sun like star. This planetry system is found aroiund 1200 light years away in Lyra constellation. These are also know as super earth due to ginormous size. It is said , based on current available data that this pair is covered entirely in earth like oceans.

3. Gliese 667Cc

This is an exoplanet, lying  some 22 light-years away from the Earth. It is around 4.5 times as big as the Earth. Till now, enough data hasn't been collected to confirm whether it's a  rocky planet or not. Gliese 667Cc completes one rotation around its host star in a mere 28 days, but that star is a red dwarf , much cooler than the sun, so calculations insist that the exoplanet  lies in the habitable zone.

ACCORDING TO ''NASA'' they discovered a planet mostly the planet is a cousin of EARTH.
according to time magazine :-  Kepler 452b was discovered on NASA’s Kepler mission orbiting in the habitable zone around a sun-like star, or the zone in which liquid water could pool on the surface of an orbiting planet, according to NASA .About 12 planets had previously been discovered in habitable zones that had similarities to earth, but, “Kepler-452b fires the planet hunter’s imagination because it is the most similar to the Earth-sun system found yet,” NASA’s statement says. “A planet at the right temperature within the habitable zone, and only about one-and-a-half times the diameter of Earth, circling a star very much like our own sun.”
Along with Kepler 452b, this mission also found 11 other small habitable zone planets. “This exciting result brings us one step closer to finding an Earth 2.0,” said John Grunsfeld, associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate.
