In the case of a debit card, whenever you swipe it some amount of money is reduced from your savings account. When your money in the savings account becomes very low you'll get a notice from the bank office.

in the case of credit card, you need not have a savings account. You can use it and get money how much ever you want ( the money will be spent by the bank ) . After some days you'll have to pay back the money to the bank.

Debit card is the card where we first collect money then use the same amount of money for different purposes like shopping , or we can withdraw the amount of money from the ATM machine.
Credit card is the card where we are borrowing money from the organization of the card.
We have to pay the borrowed amount of  money to the organization . If we pay the borrowed amount to the specified organization in a time interval specified by the organization then we won't have to give interest to the borrowed amount but if we are not able to pay it in a specified interval then we have to pay the interest as specified by the organization.

Hope This helps You!!!!!!!
