A polar bear has a layer of fat under its skin which helps it stay warm. It also has a thick layer of fur.

2. they have a layer of fat known as blubber which provide extra insulation.
3. they are white in color which help in camouflage.
4. they can go to hibernation during very cold weather in winters.
