# The side of a rombus is 10cm and length of one diagonal is 12cm. find the other length of the diagonal ???? please please it's very urgent for me please anyboby can solve it fast

We know that
A= 1/2 p√4*a^2-p^2
Where p is one diagonal and a is side of rhombus.A is the area
So put the values
A= 96(after solving)
Then we also know,
Area of rhombus is also = 1/2*p*q
Where p one diagonal and q is another one
So put in values
96=1/2*12*q
Therefore, q=16..
Hence another diagonal is 16 cm..

Half a diagonal will be the height of the right angled triangle formed, so :

Now half a diagonal (the other one) is 8.
Therefore the whole diagonal is 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 16.

Ans: 16cm
