Fuel saving has become important for all of us in this 21st Century. Fossil fuels are the natural fuels that are formed in the crust layer of the Earth over thousands of years from the remains of plants, dead animals and organisms. These are gas and oil. Wood can also be considered as a fuel.
We use fuel for a number of purposes at home and in industries. We are using up much more fuel than what is naturally formed under Earth. So it could happen after centuries that fossil fuels are exhausted. Then life on Earth becomes very difficult to live. Also, the government spends a lot of money in subsidies over fuels.
So it is important to save fuel. There are many simple ways of doing that. We should remember to save fuel deliberately. Walk short distances instead of vehicles. Stop engines at signals. Do vehicle maintenance periodically for good tuning. Run the vehicles at optimum speed. Switch off engines at signal halts. Buy efficient appliances and devices. Keep lid on the cooking utensils. Use pressure cookers. If possible, get solar energy panels on top of your terrace for water heating and lighting. Use shared and public transports. It will be good to use bio gas, bicycle whenever possible. Avoid wastage of any industrial product, as to produce any item and to transport, a lot of fuel of some kind is utilized.
Fuel is precious. Life without fuel is vicious. Artificial fuels are not yet viable. Do not be malicious. Save fuel and tell others to do the same.
