Green revolution is a large increase in crop production in developing countries achieved by the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides and high yield crop varieties
The green house effect is a process by which thermal radiation from a planetary surface is absorbed by atmospheric green house gases and is re radiated in all directions.
Green revolution refers to the rapid increase in crop production due the use of advanced technology in agriculture i.e. genetically modified high yielding crops, better fertilisers, insecticides and pesticides etc.

Green house effect refers to the increase in global temperature due to absorption of radiation from earth's surface by green house gases such as carbon dioxide, methan, CFCs etc.
