Dear  granny
Hello! How are  you?I am fine and hope same for you. You will be surprised to know that this vacations I went to Kerela with my friends. It was a very pleasant place. We had a fantastic holiday in Kerala. I love the place. It seems to be a bit cleaner and the people of course speak English fairly well. We went by train down to Cochin and were met by a driver. We then went to the Taj Cochin which was wonderful as I have never been to a 5 star hotel before so I did feel like a God!!. We then went onto a houseboat and sailed for a day and a half to Allepy. This was a wonderful experience as well. We had a cook on board and everything there was so much better than I ever expected. We also went into Trivandrum and had a look around and saw the Temple of Padmanabha..We ate The most special dish idili and special type of rice. We also visited several temples .It was very memorable vacations for me. Anyway, I must go and get on with my work!I am looking forward to seeing you a few days later.
 See you!

Take care

D.K road,

Dear grandma,
I am fine here. Hope you are fine there. I want to tell about my holiday to you. In your last letter, you suggested me to visit Srinagar. I'll tell about that trip. It was an amazing trip to Srinagar. Srinagar is the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, is acclaimed to be one of the most loveliest places in india.

Set in the picturesque Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1730 meters, Srinagar is a tourist's paradise and one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. No destination is as romantic as Srinagar, no setting as spectacular as Srinagar, rightly termed the "Pride of Kashmir valley".

Now I will mention you about the tourist places of Srinagar. Dal lake is the most important tourist attraction in Srinagar. It has four enormous water bodies, LOkut dal, bod dal, gagribal and nagin.

Next is Wular lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in india. It is surrounded by mountains on the north and north-east of the valley.

I also shopped a lot there. The region of Jammu and Kashmir is traditionally rich in handicrafts. Hand woven silk fabric and shawls are hot favorite. I shopped in Lal chowk, Raghunath bazaar and Hari market.

Thank you for suggesting Srinagar. Suggest me more places. Send me a reply letter.

With love,
Yours affectionately,
