In triangleABC anglea=angle b suppose we will take angle c as 'x' and angle a as 'x' then angle b will be 'x' becoz angle a = angle b
then we should use formula
angle a + angle b+angle c= 180
x+x+x=180
3x=180
x=180÷3
x=60
then angle a = 60
and angle b=60

they didnt mention that angle C = angle A
But I didn't say angle c = angle a. I just said we can take it as x
