Let x = length of train . Distance = 180 m + x speed of train while crossing bridge = d/t = 180+ x)/20 = 9 + x/20 , speed of train while crossing the man = d/t = x/8 a/q ..................
9 + x/20 = x/8 => 9 = x/8-x/20=> 9= (5x-2x)/40 => 9*40/2=x => x= 180 m now speed of train = 180/8 m/s = 22.5m/s
