Hydra reproduces mainly through budding and amoeba splits into identical parts of same size feature etc. you can differentiate between the parent hydra and the newly formed hydra
Amoeba is an unicellular organism. Cell division or fission is the way of reproduction in amoeba. It simply split into two equal halves. While , Hydra uses regenerative cells for reproduction in the process of budding. A bud develops as an outgrowth due to repetitive cell division at one specific site . This bud develops into tiny individual and when fully mature detach from the parent body and become new independent individual. Hydra , also reproduce by the method of regeneration. It can be cut into pieces and each piece grows into a complete organism .
