Amoeba is an unicellular organism. Cell division or fission is the way of reproduction in amoeba. It simply split into two equal halves. While , Hydra uses regenerative cells for reproduction in the process of budding. A bud develops as an outgrowth due to repetitive cell division at one specific site . This bud develops into tiny individual and when fully mature detach from the parent body and become new independent individual. Hydra , also reproduce by the method of regeneration. It can be cut into pieces and each piece grows into a complete organism .
