Each testis of frog is located anterioventrally towards the inner margin of kidney. It is covered by a thin layer of peritoneum called mesorchium. Each testis is small oblong or cylindrical, slightly reddish yellow in color. The vasa efferentia arise from each testis and enter the kidney to open in the Bidder's Canal. They are thin and slender. There are about 10 to 12 vasa efferentia in number. The Bidder's canal runs longitudinally along the inner margin of the kidney and communicates with the urinogenital duct by several transversely arranged collecting tubules.
