There were polished stone mirrors around 4000 BC.  There were bronze and copper  mirrors later by 2000 BC.  China and India were two countries who could produce these.  Glass mirrors were discussed in some writings of 1st century AD.
Parabolic mirrors and polished iron mirrors were available later. By 10th century parabolic and glass mirrors were used by physicists and scientists for various experiments. City of venice (italy) started making glass mirrors by 16th century. They were very famous. France and germany also started making mirrors later.
THe silver coated glass mirrors are invented by German chemist  Leibug. in 1835.
