Asexual :- 1) Only one parent is involved and there is no role of gametes. 2) It produces offsprings which are almost identical because of minimal variation. The minimal variation is only due to error in DNA copying. Sexual :- 1) Two individuals are involved and gametes play an important role in the transfer of traits from parent to offspring 2) The offsprings produced resemble the parents in body design, structure and some feauters but aren't identical to either.
