Because planet r quite near to us and larger in size so they r taken as collection of many point sources of light . the total variation in the amount of light entering our eye from all the individual point sized sources will average out to be zero which nullify the twinkling effect of each other

Because they are very close to us . we saw them as a extended source . if we consider them as a colection of large number of point size sources ,the total variation in the amount of linght enetering in our eye from all individual point-source will be average out to be zero , thereby nulllifying the twinkle effect.
