   Work done by the force,

Use equations 1 and 2 in equation 3.
ie; W=ma*(v^2-u^2/2a)
        =1/2ma(v^2-u^2)

If the object is starting from rest ,
ie; when u=0,then W=1/2mv^2

This work done is equal to the change in kinetic energy of an object.

Therefore,kinetic energy possessed by the object is
                               
                         E(k)=1/2mv^2
