Renewable Resources: The resources which can be renewed or reproduced by physical, chemical or mechanical processes are known as renewable or replenishable resources. For example, solar and wind energy, water, forests and wildlife, etc.

It has now become a necessity to use renewable energy resources because of the following reasons:
Resources are vital for human survival as well as for maintaining the quality of life.Renewable energy resources are available in plentiful amounts or can be replenished within a particular time frame. Though initial costing is high, they are economically more viable than the exhaustive resources in  the long run.Since exhaustive resources are on the verge of finishing, alternative resources are a compulsion. Afforestation and production of hydrogen cars or battery operated vehicles are some of the good  measures towards usage of renewable energy resources.
