By right hand thumb rule the thumb in thumbs up states current and curlied finger will give  magnetic field

Easy and a simple way is that u brout a new bar magnet in a straight line if they attract they have same pole  then mark it as north then the west will be its left.
yaar??
it is reference
We can only take that rule, when the bar magnet is considered to be an equivalent solenoid carrying current.
If you are 100%sure about your answer, then pls explain me,I m giving you now a at magnet, how will u point me the west direction???
You go for rules,by holding the magnet in your hand and curling fingers and taking the direction of current??haha..very funny..

A bar magnet can be used to create a compass in order to find the west direction. A compass is an instrument that is used to find direction. A compass is created by placing a lightweight magnet on a nearly frictionless pivot point. The magnet is generally called a needle. One end of the needle is often marked "N," for north, or colored in some way to indicate that it points toward north. West would be the direction that is perpendicular and to the left of the North needle. A compass works because Earth is thought to have a gigantic bar magnet buried inside. Opposite poles of a magnet attract to one another; much like opposite charges of an atom attract to one another. Therefore, in order for the north end of the compass to point toward the North Pole, it is thought that Earth's buried bar magnet has its south end at the North Pole.
Hey dear,do you know what a compass is???
every one of us can make a compass...u just need is simply a bar magnet or any magnet having fine shape.
A compass needle is itself a magnet which is suspended freely,or pivoted on a spindle.
i just give the answer relating to a compass, which is itself a magnet.
but not give west direction
