Let there be a circle with center O and from an external point T two tangents are drawn to the circle at P and Q. ∠PTQ=60°

Join OT and in ΔOTP
∠OPT=90°(radius⊥tangent)
OP=5cm(radius)
∠OTP=30°(60° is bisected by the line from centre)
PT=?

OP/PT= opposite / adjacent= tan30°
5/PT=1/√3
PT=5√3 cm

Therefore the length of the tangent is 5√3 cm

Hope it helped you!! :)
