HCL is secreted by the gastric glands in the stomach. More precisely the parietal oxyntic cells secrete it. Its needed for the pH range of 1-3 to for conversion of pepsin- pepsinogen.chymotripsin in small intestine

I)  HCl is secreted in the stomach by the oxyntic cells(also called parietal cells) 
ii) Chymotrypsin is secreted by Pancreas ( present in pancreatic juice ) into the Small intestine ; duodenum to be precise.
