External dimension will be 10 +1 = 11 cm
volume of the wood = external volume - internal volume 
                                   = (11)³ - (10)³ = 1331 - 1000 = 331 cm³
∴volume of wood = 331 cm³
external surface area = 6×a² = 6×(11)²= 6×121 = 726 cm²
cost of painting = Rs 10×726 = Rs 7260
