Condensation is the process by which water vapour turns into liquid water.

This typically occurs when water vapor molecules come into contact with cooler molecules. This causes the water vapour molecules to lose some energy as heat.

An exothermic reaction gives off heat energy.

So, as heat is liberated, the surrounding becomes warmer.

The surrounding air becomes warm. Because when water vapour condenses and forms water latent heat gets generated and thereby making the surrounding air warm.
