no. y=2 is not just one point. It is a line. For that you mark a point at 2 units (squares) up from origin. After that DRAW A horizontal line paralle to X axis through that point. This line has always y=2, no matter what x is.

Y is the vertical line. To plot y+2 we have to move to units up from the origin and mark that point
