These are the steps for urine formation:
The renal artery brings in the dirty blood containing waste substances into the kidneys.
This dirty blood containing waste like urea enters the glomerulus which filters this blood. During filtration , substances like glucose, amino acids, salts, water and urea, etc. present in the blood pass into the Bowman's capsule and then enter the tubule of nephron.
The useful substances like glucose, amino acids, some salts, and some water, etc., are reabsorbed into the blood through capillaries surrounding the tubule.
The waste substances such as urea, some unwanted salts and excess water remain behind the tubule.
Now, the only liquid left behind in the tubule is the urine.
Then urine goes to the urinary bladder through the ureters.
