So let the equation of line be m

so the slope for line passing through (1,2);(5,6)
m₁ = (6-2)/(5 -1)
     = 4/4 = 1
so we know that when two lines are perpendicular m x m₁ = -1

so m = -1

so using (y - y₁)=m(x - x₁)  where y₁ = -4 , x₁ = -5

(y + 4)= -1(x + 4)
x + y = -8 ANSWER
