Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was a social reformist and he created a deep impact on the society by reforming the Muslim community. he understood the growing need for Muslims to gain knowledge in English and Western sciences. he aimed to uplift the Muslim society. In 1864, he established the Scientific Society of Aligarh to translate scientific works into Urdu. he also found the Mohammedan Anglo Oriental College and Cambridge universities. his aim was to construct an institution that would teach western education with islamic values in it. In this way he reformed and created a great impact on the society with  Muslim managed educational institutions
