Sportmanship doesnot mean only taking part in sports and games , but also playing the game of life in the spirit imbibed on the playing fields.
a true sportman is who observes all the rules of the life which he has taught to observe in the game.one who has acheived skill in games but failed to apply the principles of sports in life in general doesnot deserve to be called a sportsman.
true sportmanship is the aspiration or ethos that a sport or activity will be enjoyed for its sake , with proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect and sense of fellowship with one's competators.a sore loser refers to one who does not take defeat well whereas a good sport means being a good winner as well as being a good loser.
in general sportmanship refers to virtues such as fairness, self control ,courage and persistence and has been associated with interpersonal concepts of treating others and treating fairly, maintaining self control if dealing with others, and respect for both authority and opponents.sportmanship is also looked at as being the way that one reacts to a sport or game or an opponent.
