Electricity is passsed in a dead body until it has some amount of mosture in it. when it completly dries up (which happens rarely)then it no longer conducts it.

Yes, as you may know human bodies are a good source of conductor! Dead bodies can generate electricity.If it happens that the dead body is completely dried up and has some moisture or actually no moisture; then it might lose all its conductor properites and therefore doesn't generate electricity. Though majority of the times, electricity does generate in a dead human body.
