The Elements of the  Mughal Chahar Bagh were:
·they were formal gardens.
·they were divided into four equal quadrilaterals through artificial channels.
·they are also called - river front garden.
·only selected people had entry to these gardens.
·an example of chahar bagh(char bagh) can be found at the Taj Mahal in India.
