The question is very much right.
Sides are 15, 20, 25. You can see that they form right angled triangle and their perimeter is 60.

Solution :
       Please Rephrase the question , and check instead of hypotenuse value of base or altitude should be given.
           perimeter = 60 cm  (given)
            hypotenuse = 25 cm  (given)
       We know that perimeter of right angled triangle = base+altitude +hypotenuse
           60 = base +  altitude + 25
           60 - 25 = base + altitude
           35 = base + altitude
       or base + altitude = 35
           let the base = x
               therefore altitude = 35 -x
Area of a right angled triangle = 1/2(x * (35 - x))
                                           = 1/2 (35x - x²)
                                           =35x/2 - x²/2

Let a, b, c be base, height and hypotenuse respectively. You have c=25 and a+b=35 and a²+b²=c²=25². Here the area of triangle is ½ab. Then (a+b)²=35² ⇒ 2ab=35²-(a²+b²) ⇒ 2ab=4(30)(5) ⇒½ab=150. Hence area of triangle is 150 sq. units
