Friends, I want to say some words on such an interesting topic as adventure.
First of all, let us ask ourselves what an adventure is?
An Adventure is
a task more dangerous, difficult and risky than usual daily
tasks. An adventure gives excitement and thrill to the undertakers.
Adventure is an out of the ordinary work that may be useful to the society like
exploration of an undiscovered place or achieving some thing in a way people
don't dare to do.
Then come the the point, why do adventurers do
them? You see, the adventurers get bored with the usual ordinary life and
they look for an extra excitement from life. Achievement of
extraordinary, unknown and a challenge gives them extreme satisfaction.
Adventurers convert the challenge into a success. People like
adventurers and respect them. So adventurers become famous. An adventure gives an immense satisfaction to the adventurer.
Really, what does it take to do an adventure?
Becoming an adventurer needs careful planning, continuous training, regular
update of knowledge, use of technology, latest gadgets and physical
fitness. To be an adventurer we need a lot of confidence, concentration,
physical strength, coordination of our body and mind.
Let me also give some examples. Sky diving and bungee
jumping, mountain climbing, rock climbing etc. A policeman's life and a
detective's life are full of adventures. In our childhood we too have
done small adventures. We children are natural adventurers. Wall
climbing, rock climbing, climbing building bare-handed, are some more examples.
(Optional) Mandeep Singh Soin and Joydeep Sircar of India
are famous mountaineering expediters. Ferdinand Magellan of
Portugal circumnavigated the Earth centuries ago. Marco Polo was
another adventurous explorer. The men who set their feet on moon
also did a great adventure. Recently, very young boys and girls of India have climbed Mount Everest.
Finally, I thank you all for listening to me silently
