Given
1) Market price = 575
       Discount % = 12 %

Now Discount of 12 % on Market price =  ( 575 ) * ( 12 /100 )
                                                                 =  ( 575 ) * ( 0.12 )
                                                                 = 69

So the discount  is = 69

2) Now Selling Price
             Selling Price = Market price - discount
                                    = 575 - 89
                                    = 506

So the Selling Price = 506
and discount =69

(note:- M.P.= Marked Price D= Dicount D%=Discount %)
M.P= Rs.575
D%=12%
D=100-D%/100*M.P.
88/100*575 = 506.
 Hence, Discout given= M.P -  S.P. = 575 - 506 =  69.
Answere Dicount = 69
              S.P.=  506
