Osmotic pressure-It is the pressure applied by the solution to prevent the inward flow of water across a semipermeable membrane whereas osmotic potential is the potential of water molecules to move from a hypotonic solution to a hypertonic solution.

Osmotic pressure and osmotic potential are numerically same but sign is opposite . Osmotic pressure is positive while osmotic potential is negative.
The pressure required to prevent the water from diffusing is the osmotic pressure.
The potential of a solution to prevent the entry of water in to across the membrane due to dissolved salts in it.
