Sperms are produced by the male reproductive hormone the testosterone and this helps in the carrying of the reproductive material to the eggs or the ovum of the female. these ovum  is produced by the female reproductive hormone called oestrogen or progestron.. when during the sexual process the fusion of these both sperms and eggs causes the reproducction process in which a new embryo is formed and gets fertilised in the fallopian tube and forms a zygote in the uterine wall and new foetus is formed and new offspring is born.

this is the importance of the sperms in male and eggs in female.
