Munshi Prem chand clearly emphasises on the importance of justice through a village setting. He shows the panch as being above worldly relation through 2 different occasions . Firstly when Alagu sat on the seat of the panch , ,though being a sworn friend of Jumman passed a correct judgement despite all this .He showed that a panch has no feelings of his own , for him none is a friend or a foe whatsoever. Jumman too showed a similar quality when he passed judgement in favour of Alagu despite them having differences.
P.s-you can add the points which refer to what Jumman was thinking after being elected panch ..for good measure (cause in icse boards marks are not deducted for writing extra)
