Systolic pressure is always more diastolic pressure because:

i.)During auricular or ventricular systole the blood is pushed or pumped out from the auricles or ventricles outside whereas during auricular or ventricular diastole the blood is poured into the auricles or ventricles i.e., it is pushed within the heart.

ii.)Hence more pressure need to be applies to pump the blood for it to circulate throughout the body and less pressure needs to be applied to circulate blood within the heart.

Normal b.p is- 120/90 mm
