Causes of World War 1-

1.) Military Nationalism - Each nation started to increase their military forces to prove that they stand above all and show their power.

2.)Race for armaments- Each nation started to buy and store more and more weapons and this was done to show other nations that they could easily dominate them and are powerful and above all.

3.)Formation of two- hostile blocs- During this time Europe got divided into two hostile power blocs. One was a bloc led by the U.S and the other was a bloc led by Russia.

4.)Sarajevo crisis- Archduke Francis Ferdinand from Austria-Hungary was assassinated in Bosnia by a Serbian community.Serbia didn't agree to the demands that kept its secularity at stake and thus this led to the beginning of the First World War.

The causes for the world war 1 is :- World War I was mainly caused by a combination of several factors but above all, it was caused by the tensions between the European powers and crisis of the balance-of-power system that divided Europe into two camps. While one camp, joining Great Britain, France and Russia (Triple Entente) strove to preserve the fragile balance between the European great powers, the second camp that formed around German Empire, Austria-Hungary and Italy (Central Powers) was challenging it. !
